Fred Kaps
Fred Kaps was
the most personable and all-around adept sleight of hand performer of
them all.
He could do them all, whether smoking his thumb or producing lit candles between his fingers
or producing coins and fans of dollar bills, he was always a joy to watch. My favorite was the
seemingly endless streams of salt that came cascading from his fist.
Whatever Fred did he did with great style, and it seemed he could do it all!
I met him once at the Magic Castle in the 60's and he was charming as always.
